How Blogs Can Help With Higher Web Rankings

The new “unavailable_after” tag of Google, caused quite a stir in the blogosphere. Breaking an important story in a blog is completely different compared to writting articles for the high ranking newsletter. When one of the blogging spot posted this news, the others soon followed, spreading the word in minutes. about 93,000 pages mentioned this phrase where previously no results were shown. If the phrase or even the slightest focus was laid on this phrase in Title tags or articles, it was given importance and showed up in ranking in search engines.
All this led to a conclusion being drawn on bloggers. There are 10 types of bloggers ranging from the good, the bad to the sleazy. The good bloggers are three in number. The first bloggers seek permission before printing an article and if requested add link backs and a bio. They want to add some content to their sites thus the full article is published along with additional bio and links that you specify. The second good bloggers don’t seek republishing permission but give a link to the original article. This however, leave the original writer with little control in what the bio link has to say.
The third good bloggers blog about something that is written in their own words thus not duplicating the original article. They add unique commentaries and opinions of their own and on occasion end up criticizing what has been written. The forth are the bad bloggers who blog what others blogged and then link back to both the blogger’s posts and the original author. They walk away with the credit that actually belongs to the original author.
The Fifth type fall in the bad category as they also post blogs about what other bloggers are posting but do not link to the original article. They only link to other bloggers. This happens a lot though the intention is not to disrespect the original author. There is no direct credit given to the original author. The sixth are also the bad type of bloggers. They pick a topic and blog on it but do not even digg the original article instead it is their own post that is digged.
The seventh type of bloggers are the sleazy kind. They not only republish without permission but do not even bother to link back. They don’t refer to the original author or may mention the author’s name but not link back. This looks like a case of infringement of copyright. The eighth type of bloggers are those who link if they want to or not but add other crap along with contextual links to the content. This is quite prevalent now-a-days. They hardly get traffic.
There are two other blogger types that do not fall under any of these categories. One blogger type gets facts wrong but blogs anyway and only makes corrections when pointed out. The other blogger types blog because all the others are so why shouldn’t they? If you find your self described in the good bloggers type good for you, if not, you know what to do now to belong to that category.
Ever notice that ads can be a great tool for increasing traffic with hits and sales and selling affiliate products. Classifieds and ads are the future of listing products online.
