Don’t try to trick the search engines! Unless you want the search engines to de-index your site from their rankings and ban you for a long time, don’t trick them. For example, don’t use same-color keywords as your background color before or after your article. It is not worth it. Trust me.

Strive to get backlinks pointing to your main domain and the URLs of your other pages to gain the trust of the search engines. When the search engines see that your site is gaining popularity like this, they will know that your site is in demand and has to offer very good quality information for the readers.

Backlinks are gotten through many methods. You can write articles like this one and submit it to major article directories. You can use social bookmarks and share your site online. Video sites where you share your videos are a good way to get backlinks. Blog commenting on other blogs is an easy and effective method; be sure you put a link to your URL.

Be warned though that too many backlinks to your site will make the search engines suspicious. The best quantity is only 5 to 10 backlinks a day.
